Description: A gourmet food and wine event featuring host chefs Jeff Littlefield (Shades Restaurant, Hilton Waterfront Beach Resort) and Jeff Jackson (A.R. Valentin Restaurant, The Lounge at Torrey Pines).
Proceeds from SPIN's event benefit the Griffin family and other SPIN clients who are working hard to overcome the obstacles in their life.
David Griffin is an Iraqi war veteran and a former member of the sheriff's department. He was recently diagnosed with leukemia and is undergoing intensive chemo at UCI. A lot of help is needed for this family and other families like this one in our community, who have always been self-sufficient, but suddenly find themselves unemployed for the first time in their lives, unable to find a new job or having suffered a tragic circumstance that has thrown their lives into chaos.
