For eight years running, Toshiba America, Inc. and its generous employees have come together to raise funds for local and national charities during the holiday season through the Toshiba Global Volunteer Days initiative, and this year the team raised over $12,000, including nearly $6,000 in support of Serving People in Need of Orange County.
The fundraising drive took place from November 21 to December 15 and allowed employees to donate up to 40 hours of paid time off or make one-time donations through paycheck deductions. On December 5, Unite Nation International Volunteer Day, some Toshiba employees also participated in community volunteering efforts.

I am also pleased to announce that the company will be contributing an additional $4,000 to employee-led fundraising and volunteer programs.
