The SPIN Board of Directors is pleased to announce Stephanie Smolkin as SPIN’s next executive director.
Stephanie joined the SPIN team in 2011 as Controller and Grant Administer. Over the next 10 years, she oversaw and managed all of SPIN’s financial and accounting processes with an emphasis on securing a foundation of financial strength in order to fund the many programs and great needs addressed by SPIN outreach in the community.
During her time in this role, she helped develop organizational policies and procedures for SPIN and its programs. In addition, Stephanie wrote, administered, and tracked grants and donations from government, foundations, and corporate donors. She provided monthly financial reports and budgets, analyzing data relating to programs and their funding sources to ensure the fiscal solvency of SPIN.
Stephanie steps into the role of Executive Director bringing fiscal responsibility as well as a great heart for the work for those SPIN serves.
The Board of Directors is proud to place their trust in her capable and caring hands as she continues the tradition of community service, following in the footsteps of former CEO Jean Wegener, who for over 30 years, improved and stabilized the lives of so many Orange County families and individuals.
